Where are you based?

Home base is Melbourne, VIC - Australia but I’m crazy for travel and I'd love to come wherever your wedding takes you!

What's your photography style?

I prefer to take a fly on the wall approach to capturing your day. My favourite moments to capture are the ones that just happen right in front of me. I’ll always make suggestions to help us get the best photos but at the end of the day, this is YOUR wedding and i want

to capture whatever is going on, wherever that may be. You’ll be left with real photos with life and energy.

What’s your editing style?

You might be able to detect a style by scrolling through my portfolio but every wedding is different, and I try to just go with the vibe I feel on the day when editing. As a rule, I like everything to be warm and skin tones looking fresh.

How do we book you?

Shoot me through an enquiry asap! and if i’m available you’ll receive my pricing guide PDF.

From here, you’ll have the option to book in a video chat with me! We can go over any questions you have and get to know each other. I love hearing more about you and your plans for the day.

So you’re keen to lock it all in? I’ll send you through a quote, contract and invoice to make it official! You'll complete a questionnaire that'll help me to get the next steps organised.

Is the booking fee refundable?

There is a 14 day cooling off period if there's any sudden changes. After that, the booking fee is non-refundable as i'll be turning away other enquiries for your date.

How do you accept payment?

I accept payment via EFT bank transfer.

Can you hold our date whilst we decide?

Unfortunately not. In order to lock in your date, you need to esign the contract and pay the retainer.

Even if we have been emailing/meet up for coffee and I was available for your date at the time, it can't be confirmed until these things have been done.

What if I have to cancel/move my booking?

In the event that your booking cannot go ahead due to force majeure circumstances (such as a lockdown) we will work together to find another date for your wedding day. Your new date must be within 12 months of your original booking date. Your booking fee will then be transferred to your new date! Easy peasy!

If you decide to cancel your booking, your booking fee still remains non refundable as this helps to protect my business due to turning away all other bookings for your wedding date. It also covers the work already done such as planning, emails, meetings etc.

I hope you understand that the booking fee is insurance for my business to stay afloat in the event of a cancellation.

How many photos will we receive?

Lots. On average, I say you will get between 75-100 images per hour that I am with you.

How do we receive our photos?

You’ll receive everything 6-8 weeks after your wedding. If you’d like to receive your photos sooner, you can have a look at my Rush service. Can we meet before the day?

Of course! You have full access to my calendar link where you can book in phone meetings, zooms and in person catchups to your hearts content! It gives us a chance to get to know each other better and you can make sure you're both comfortable with me.

Do you photograph same-sex weddings?

Yes, yes, yes! no matter how you identify and regardless of how you define your relationship, I'd love to be a part of your wedding day.

We’re awkward in photos and are not sure about doing the ‘portrait session’?

You’d be surprised how many times I hear this but I'm yet to experience a truly awkward couple session.

I tell my couples to think of it as the one hour on the day they get to spend alone together (I'll be there third-wheeling too but you’ll forget about me).

Just enjoy it! Your first moments as a married couple. I’ll get you to take it all in, have you walk around holding hands, i’ll point out your friends and family from a distance celebrating your love, you’ll laugh, I’ll laugh - we’ll have a good time. It’s really not as stress inducing as you may think.

Can you suggest some locations near our venue for wedding photos?

Of course! If you're having your ceremony and reception at the same location, it's usually pretty easy to find locations on the day as it's always so beautiful! And the venue coordinator can point us in the direction of some nice spots. Although, if we're moving around for each part of your day and you're not too sure where to do photos - just ask! I'm more than happy to scout some locations or give a few suggestions where I think would work best.

Do we need to feed you dinner?

Yes please! I generally like to eat at the same time as everybody else (as I don't really like to photograph people while they're eating and so I don't miss any special moments). I also don't have any dietary requirements.

How long should we have you stay at our reception?

That's really up to you! But as a general rule, I’d say once the formalities are finished then an extra 30 mins for some dance floor shots then I can finish up.

Do you offer wedding albums?

Absolutely. There’s nothing quite like seeing your photos in print. Albums are an investment but an amazing way to tell your wedding story and of course can be passed down for generations to come (how cool is that?)

Can we print our photos through you?

Of course, You'll have a print store attached to your online gallery. You can print, your family can print, your guests can print!
